That red pepper dip, at Nando's?

Thank you for popping over from Pinterest.
My blog has moved to here - - Its so pwitty!

Oh we love it.
Its utter heaven on a pitta bread slice.
But its laden with oil and crap we can't see so I made a HEALTHY alternative and its practically the same.  Syn free on SW eating plan - we like syn free, don't we?

You need:
2 large red peppers, de-seeded and cut into 4
6 tomatoes, chopped in half
1 onion, chopped roughly
3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons fat free yogurt
couple splashes of worcester sauce
Fry lite

Bang all the veg on roasting tins and spray with fry lite.  Bung in the oven for 15 minutes on a medium heat.  Wazz the roasted veg in a wizzer machine with the rest of the ingredients - let it chop chunkily.  Serve with cruditees or serve as a sauce over chicken.
I have a feeling that there is a spoonful of sugar in the original recipe but we love this fresh, additive free and tasty version!

Don't tell me you don't like it - I will NOT believe you.  Ever.

Fry "light" is brilliant stuff. Only concern is it is not gluten free for the need never ever to have gluten free to a genuine medically diagnosed condition not a whim as some have.

Sigh, don't tell me the troll just crawled out from under its stone again :( Always a sting in that nasty little tail.

Super recipe Kirsty! I only just started doing stir fry from scratch again here and it's lovely not to have someone running round the walls all hyper on additives!

Have a super weekend! Hugs, Di xx

Did I read it wrong, think I did, pitta bread has gluten. I'd be seriously worried if fry light had gluten as part of it's ingredients, but then you never know these days.. Ho hay!
