A night out!

We don't go out as a family much but when we do its usually on a weekend.  So to go out on a TUESDAY was, like, weird and yet lovely.

My father in law turned 70 today and on such momentous occasions, you just can't sit at home and fry up an egg and some chips.  So we went to Quattros (no idea where, somewhere on the M58 between Up Holland and Rainford) and I even had a glass of red.  I seriously do NOT remember the last time I had a glass of red although I try and avoid it as it gives me massive headaches.  It was heaven.  And so were the olives.

Ellie loves her grandparents dearly (from both our sides) so she was in heaven.  We get to do it all again this weekend when its her birthday, too.

Here is the card I made for him - now what gives you the impression that he likes to tinker in his tool shed?

Got to go and pray that that red wine bypasses my liver and any potential hangover.  Yeeeps!

Anon, why are you constantly obsessed with
my daughter going out with her mates. You clearly are a regular reader and for that you will already know that she isn't independent.
Your spite is reedick.
