Taste sensations

Other than dipping shreddies into hummus this week (weird, I know but very nice!), our fam have taken to my little sweet concoction of late.

This pic was taken with my iphone and is not really a gastro class image but let me tell you that this meal in 30 minutes is awesome.

for 3 people you will need:
Bachelors chicken savoury rice (kop out, but quick and tasty!)
3 chopped chicken breast
8oz of chopped chorizo
half an onion
10 cherry tomatoes
half a red or yellow pepper
1tbs of mixed herbs
drop of oil

Make up the rice to the packets instructions.
Meanwhile, whilst the rice is simmering, sweat the peppers and onions in a drop of oil.
Then add chorizo.  Stir for 2 minutes.
Then add chicken and herbs.  Stir for 10 minutes.
5 minutes before the rice is ready, add the cherry tomatoes (whole) to the chickenny chorizo-ey pan.
Dish up with foccacia or herby ciabatta.

Pat tummy, belch loudly, sit contentedly as the lard makes its way to your thighs.

looks and sounds delicious :)and I've heard that if you eat it standing up the calories don't count!
