Here we go

Went to the doctors with Ellie today to ask if he would refer us to a specilaist with regards to her behaviour, her emotional disposition and lack of social acivity and he couldn't type his referral quick enough on his computer. Even he said it could be Aspergers without me saying so.

If only the last 14 years would have been so forthcoming.

Camh's - here we come.

Oh Kirsty what a beautiful photo, Belle is just gorgeous!!!!!
I have read your previous post and my nephew has aspergers, with very similar traits to Ellie. I think you may be on the right track here and have my fingers crossed for a speedy diagnosis with helpful treatment and information. xxx

Good luck with the CAMHS appt - I have dealt a lot with them professionally and then personally when my DS was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism - and they are either wonderful or just rubbish depending on who you get.

We are under the 5 borough partnership which includes Wigan, (with St Helens, Waarington, Knowsley and Halton) but I think you are out of that area?

I hope you get some answers! My son displays some flavors of Asperger's, so I know how frustrating it can be. Gorgeous photo!
