Saturday mornings, when I am not working, are the best.
Its 11.47 as I type and both Belle and I are still in our jammies after eating bacon and eggs and have slurped tea/ribena in abundance. The pooch is at my feet chewing on hide (butt in my direction, as ever) and Mark is out 'caching (I think he is nigh on 600 finds right now). In a bit Im going to go and turf my scraproom around, again, to make way for this:I need extra creative space and this will blend perfectly into my latest space saving race. Its only the desk attachment as I have three of those shelving units already and each pigeon hole filled with stuff I probably wont EVER use but feel I need, just in case. Things like little boxes and fabrics and lace and freaky stamps circa 2003.
Due to Dyans bereavement/shop closure my class has been cancelled for tomorrow which means I have a whole sunday free - wooohoooo. This full weekend off = happy wisemans. Plus Im going to church tomorrow (think Belle wants to come too) to blow off the old religious hangs ups so with that in mind, we are really going to make today a real lazy day. Although at 4pm Im going to have to make an effort to get dressed so I can walk that little sausage dog of mine. Boy does he like his walks. Its funny, you know, after each walk that dog gets so sleepy. So by about our tea time (roughly 7pm) he sits begging at my feet but with his eyes closed and nodding off. I think its hilarious. That dog would beg for food in a coma, I know it. And Im soft enough to give him tid bits anyway. I just cant resist those sooty little eyes, full of want.
Am planning a home made chicken tikka for tea, have just marinaded some chicken in fat free yoghurt and tikka spices and will dry roast them later a serve with home made bombay potatoes and rice. Mark can't believe his luck with all this voluntary domesticity from my part and whats more, he is going to have a friggin heart attack when I surprise him with home made onion bhaji's too. Go me.
Coming back laters to share pics of some spray inked projects, stay tuned.....
**edited to add this pic but its not eddy. I mean is it cruel? No, its called "living the dream". he he heeeeeeeeeee. They love it really, just as long as they are centre of attention!
