If you live in the North West of England - wasn't it gorgeous today?
We head out to Ainsdale beach to take the boy out for walkies and Ellie for a picnic. Marks parents joined us as we blew out the cobwebs and inhaled the freshest of air.
The beach was stacked with sitting Terns that flew up in a flight creating flickering black and silver clouds. This picture is nothing special but I love how the horizon is all shimmery from the warmth of the day.Eds goes bananas on the beach running to and fro between mark and I. Belle laughs her head off at how fast he darts across the sand often turning a full 90 degrees at the scent of something being blown downwind.Sandwiches are the best picnic filler; this lady loves hamble sambles to mostWe found this mutilated dolls body on the beach. Mark tried out his forensic skills by drawing around her before we called the feds.We did a little nature walk (ie Geocaching for Mark, tut!) and whilst he went treasure hunting, we enjoyed these little delights. We came home and sparked out on the sofa for an hour or so (well, the dog and I did, after his bath 'cos he was stinky, smelly, beachy flavoured and that's not nice). After that gorgeous nap and lets admit - a nap after a day at the beach is HEAVEN, I went to the gym to pound the treadmill and create earth tremors across Greater Manchester.
then it was home for Chilli and Dancing on Ice. I'm so excited about this seasons dance off because Mark has bought Belle and I tickets to see the tour in April, in Manchester. I can't begin to tell you what a lovely surprise it was for him to do that - thanks Marko xx
