is sicky doo daa.
Do you know what time she got up today?
Her mouth was all dried up, the skin on her lips were cracked and her face was a shocking shade of grey.
if I recall, she was ill exactly this time, last year.
I forced her out of bed so that I could feed that little body and perk her up. But she couldnt move her legs and she was really weak. I had to carry her down the stairs wrapped up in her beloved kitty blanket. She will never outgrow that tatty old rag - its her comfort and joy.
As a mum, don't you find that in moments like this, that its something sinister or you think that something is seriously wrong when they are so weak and hot?
There was no time to fret or worry as mummy/nurse mode kicks in and fevered brows are tended to.
I spent the day sat with her on the couch and learned to master Illustrator which will help with some of the stamp designs Im working on. I also got a commission to work on the Craft Stamper magazine sketch challenge for next March's issue........ now that was a great surprise inbetween feeding my belle and fattening her up for her winter skin.
As I finish this blog post, I am faced with the butt of my dog as he lays on his back and all paws in the air. Its attractive. Not. I can't bear to move him from the snug of the warm lounge so I might shimmy up next to him for 40 winks and then its off to tend to my sick girl for a night long cuddle.
Oh how I wish I could take it all away from her. Little bean.
Bugger, I forgot to get Ellie to open her Advent calenders today but if she is feeling pink, she gets double the dosage of galaxy chockies.
