I have just spent the best week of my life with my sister in Cyprus in the lead up to my cousins wedding (which was yesterday, in fact). I can't breathe without coughing after excessive laughter - more than I have laughed in a year but all in the space of a week.
I spent tons of time with cousins and second cousins for 7 fabulously hot days where as normally I see these family members for a few hours at a time at family get togethers such as Weddings and Christenings.
The weather at this time of year is exceptional for the Med too and I came home with a dusting of colour. I read a great book (Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult....she is amazing), went on waterslides that almost split me in two, ate halloumi in massive chunks, bronzed my wobbles to a crispy finish and laughed so hard that I feel that even pelvic floor exercises may not repair the damage. Talking of wobbles, I came back slightly wobble-less considering we ate scrummy food all day. It really must have been from running up and down water slides all day long and laughing which can actually burn calories!!!!
I have some lovely pictures to share but will save the wedding ones until after the UK blessing next week (don't want to spoil the surprise for my family who couldn't make it to Cyprus - sniff sniff). As I am nursing an almost broken leg, I shall upload picture-oonies tomorrow.
Thank you for some lovely emails and comments in my absence, it was lovely to come home to them after being cuddled senseless by my gorgeous girl at the airport.
