They make my drab outfits look a little chintzier but I don't care too much for gilded, diamond encrusted tiara's much anyway. Although going shopping this afternoon soaked in glimmermist added to the pretence.
We decided to go somewhere different today.
Cuz Wigan sucks.
Ive not only just decided that.
It just does.
Ask any Wiganer and they will tell you.
Its a poo plop town that has ridiculous parking on multi storey levels and quite frankly, Im sick of barfing by the time I come to park after all the turns and twists around tight corners.
Worse than roller coasters in fact.
So we went to St Helens.
Hardly even better for shops but easier on the parking.
Contemplated going to Liverpool for about 4 seconds and then realised that I hadn't brought that much cash out with me and Id only spend spend spend.
Liverpool is ACE for shopping.
I bought some fabulous frames and a new bedding set for Belle's room amongst other knick knacks.
But our best buy was junk jewels.
These are my most fabbest buy at £1 a pop (sportingly modelled by MB)I even bought this scarf (omg, i do have a terrible scarf fetish, you know) for £1.
The shop was having a summer sale and sells trinkety jewels that may only last a season but then that is generally the way fashion goes anyway.
Belle is not a jewel fan but likes to touch them and run her fingers through beads. She was happy with a packet of Thorntons Fudge Cubes (OMG, deeeeeeelish).
That child really does know how to live!
MB bought some little gems too and spent a princely sum of £4.
I, like she, LOVE making money stretch.
We got home and the girls were in such high spirits that I got the camera out. Belle is especially accommodating these days and here are few pics of our little play.
Im off to go and settle with Juno and two excited ladies - snuggled on the couch with crap to guzzle down our throats (namely pretzels for me.. low fat, which is clearly a necessity as my backside is as wide as the M6 (all lanes, both directions = HUGE) and a trillion "e" number fuelled garbage for them).
