I can't begin to describe how I felt when I saw him again this afternoon. Mark and I collected him as his tail wagged furiously at our reunion. We then went to collect belle from her after-school-club. You will NEVER EVER guess what on earth that girl has begged us to do for her after school club. You just would never guess in a bajillion years.
This kid has taken up boxing. We think partly because her friend Chiarra has joined but we also believe Belle want to be able to tackle bullies. Its not that I condone that boxing is a way to deal with said "bullies". I do try and instill that ignorance is sometimes bliss. But mentally its Belles way of feeling stronger and she has a real good giggle whilst she is there. Plus she has learned some swift moves (albeit not boxing pro standard, ya hear!).
We all made such a fuss of the poochmeister when we got home and it wasn't long before he was ragging his toys all over the kitchen and practicing his lovemaking on his bed cushion - which was such a pleasant sight. Not. I'm pretty sure that getting a boy dog was not such a cool move in that department. But Mark reckons getting another "man" in the house offers an equilibrium but seriously, public displays of major dog/cushion affection is not my idea of pet entertainment.
I mean if he is up to doing that, he can't be that ill.........can he?!!!!
In aid of spreading the love of the Pooch, Ive got this for those who keep asking. She is called "Paws for Thought"
and you can get the little monkey HERE
