A Wiseman that is.
Now mark has left the Army we can finally have a pooch so that we can all enjoy him together - everyday. We took a lovely drive this evening to go and view the last in the litter and the very moment we clapped eyes on him, we knew he was ours.
We had discussed names all the way there (Mark wanted Torres and I told him to die, basically... Im not naming our dog after a footballer - no matter how brilliant that footballer may be.).
We toyed with Nando (shortened first name of FernandoTorres), Stevie (Steven Gerrard) and then Kevin..........for a joke.
I wanted Alfie, George, Harvey or Norman and Mark wanted random footballers names from the Liverpool squad (nop, no and no).
Belle couldn't make up her mind - at all. In fact she was enjoying Mark and scream at each other with completely bonkers names.
Then it came down to Rolo and Eddy (Eddy being part of Ellie's fave cartoon Ed, Edd and Eddy) and of course we plummed for an Ellie related naming - its only fair. So we arrive and fall in love and of course, take pictures. Shame that there was really poor lighting (it was 7.45pm and im using ISO 800.... the shame of it!) but here are my semi best shots of the night.
This is eddy and mark getting better acquainted This is Eddie and his siblings. We love how his lil sister is squishing her head right over his eyes!
More sibling shots - tis time they are not scrapping for the top sleeping spot.Eddy in one of millions of poses that he will have to live with for the rest of his life. He will be my companion and my model - all in one!Miniature Dachshund pups don't have the long snout that they will eventually sport in a few more weeks time. But they are such cute puppies and in another 2 weeks he will have grown more. And finally Belle gets her hand in as he gives her a tender look. We hope these two become great buddies. It melted my heart to see these two interact.
**sigh** - you just can't measure tenderness and affection.
