And how we do that? Well, I'll let Belle explain it in a lil message for you all here
(we are loving the "Id thank you so dearly" quote.... and I assure you that was NOT rehearsed!!)
We would not be able to think of such a chance to be seen by professionals in the States hadn't it been for Ruth and Dr Scott Denton. Ruth has been reading my blog and Ellies story for like - ever - and has discussed this matter with her husband and he with his associates. They have offered to see us in various clinics near Las Vegas and our intention is to go in Spring. Its imperative we tray and raise £5,000 and to do this, belle will walk 1 mile. To you or I, 1 mile is nothing but to Ellie its 16 times her capability. She generally manages 100 meters on your average stretch before she needs to use a pushchair.
Going to Nevada may open up new lines of investigation of which we have been told that we have exhausted here. This is unacceptable. We will not sit back and leave belle to get on the way she does now.I wonder if you could help?
We have set up a website to explain the trust here

We are doing all we can (but moreover, Belle is doing lots of the hard work).
If you could perhaps share the video with your friends or share the cause on your respective blogs. Share the cause on your forums or private yahoo groups perhaps? - we would LOVE that!
Or have a coffee morning/crop raffle. Maybe a whip round at work? Anything you can give, even little pennies, would be so much appreciated :)
In the meantime, Im collating donations from craft suppliers wherever I can (CHA not excluded!!) to build a raffle prize like no other. That will be in addition to the sponsored walk to be held in April. More about that raffle in due course.
Thank you so much :)
Love Kirsty and Mark Wiseman

I would just like to say that if anyone would like more information as to what we are trying to accomplish here in Nevada, please feel free to email me. srdenton@cox.net As a parent, I know I would go to the ends of the Earth to try and help my child if I needed to and that is exactly what Mark and Kirsty are doing by bringing her here. Our hope is to get a diagnosis and see that Ellie has a happy, healthy life ahead of her. She has my utmost respect and admiration as she is the one who has to endure yet more poking and proding by doctors. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do something I feel very strongly about. Ruth Denton
How touching. I can't give a lot but I will give what I can. I will post it on my blog and to some others that have connections.
I wanted to just share with you how darling I think your little girl is. She brought tears to my eyes. I live in the U.S. and my son was born with club feet. His feet look so much like your daughters! We go to Shriner's Hospital. It is a great Orthapedic Hospital that treats chilren for free no matter what your ability to pay is. Have you ever checked into that? They are all over the U.S. I would love to give some money. Could you tell us how much money you are tyring to raise in American dollars so I can talk to some of my scrapping friends to see how we can help? I wish you all the luck so you can get the help that you need!
Okay...she is the cutest thing ever. I kind of want to give you all my money now, just in hopes that you might stop by Chicago on your way home from Nevada...but I think then Justin might leave me.
Off to see the website! Good luck!!!

Wow Kirsty...this is just fantastic!! I am off to read about the trust and see how to donate! It won't be much but I guess every little bit helps, right?
Oh Kristy I wish I had the cash to help you. I really do. But I will spread the news where ever I can. Belle is so darling, just a sweet little dear thing. I hope that all goes well for you. I have been thinking for a long time that Belle would be able to get the care she needs here in the states. I was born and raised in LasVegas, and I know that there a lot of resources there. Best of luck, and I will keep Belle in my prayers.
Kirsty,
Would love to organize a collab kit where the funds go directly into the trust, but it would require us to give you links and passwords which you would have to forward with the reciept of every email...if ANYONE else is doing a digital kit, where you get the money direct, please let me know, I would love to participate.
Thank you for sharing! It blesses the rest of us more!
Lisa
Wow! Way to go, Ellie! How wonderful that you're going to have this opportunity - count me in, I'm racking my brains trying to think of how I can raise some money for you.
Kirsty, and Belle--I'd be happy to help with a donation of raffle items! I was given help when I was fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society recently and I would be happy to pay it forward so that your raffle will be a success!
Good luck Ellie--with your walk! I'm so proud of you for challenging yourself this way!
I wish you every success with the fund raising, I shall get my thinking cap on as to how I can help too, I have put a clicky link to help spread the word on my blog so that it stays at the top and don't get lost after several posts.

donated a little something to the beautiful Belle and posted a note over at DST! Bless your family and hope your trip is a success! We're all rooting for you, Belle!
I have never contacted you before, but I am a photographer here in the states and a regular blog stalker. I gave a donation already, but really hope to do more. I am going to post her story and link on my website and blog www.simplykidsocala.com and http://justbecausejodie.blogspot.com/ to see if some of my clients may send some help her way. I wish you all the best and look forward to reading about her progress.
oh my god, i thought my heart was going to break in two.
Ellie, you are a fabulous little girl and really are an example to all of us.
Please put me down for £20 (i'll go and check out your website to find out how)
And, if when you walk your mile, you fancy some support then just let me and little Patchey Miller know (she's my little welsh collie) and we will gladly walk with you :)

Good Luck Belle - My girls think you are amazing and want to help you as much as they can :)
Hi Kirsty, I've sent my donation but I just wanted to post to say how moved I was by Belle's little video. Obviously, I don't know her and I don't even really know you, but I have been greatly inspired by your creativity and, right now, I honestly cannot think of anybody more deserving of the love, support and, hopefully, oodles of cash being sent your way. Love and very best wishes to all of you. x
Here voice is exactly what I have imagined! I have made a donation. I hope she has everything all settled before my next pay day, if not I will share more then. I'm off to post on all my message boards.
After spending all day long with diagnosticians and my own son, I share some of your frustration and your hope in this new possibility!
she's a peach kristy, as are you.

and if i can help in anyway
once you are here in the states
please let me know.

When you do get here to the states just so you have some options, go to this site https://donate.rmhc.org/NETCOMMUNITY/SSLPage.aspx?pid=186&srcid=184&tab=1 Its all about the Ronald McDonald House, and you can send them your info they can help you with a place to stay while Belle is state side. Also check out St. Judes Childrens Research hospital. www.stjude.org they also help regarless of ability to pay.
We love you all
That is GREAT news! I just knew in my heart that there was someone out there that could provide even a glimmer of hope ~ and yes, I expected it to be in the US. Since moving here to the UK and having experience with the NHS I am not surprised they have failed your daughter, which is a shame. I wish you much success with this endevour.
Hi Kirsty. You won't remember, but we met in Swindon at the Scrap Camp in October. I was inspired by your daughters story and bravery - she (and you) deserve to know what is causing her condition so that you can all make plans for the future - hopefully with a cure of some sort. I've just made a donation and I wish you all the best for your trip to teh States and for a happy outcome for Ellie. - Caron Kerr
Kirsty
The tears are running down my cheeks what a brave little girl
She is adorable and deserves the best I still as past NHS worker feel outraged at what that insensitive dr said but little did he know the woman he was speaking to !!
I am so delighted that Belle now has an opportunity to get the best in the world she deserves no less and good on you for persuing it Rest assured the whole scrapbooking community will be rooting for you and little Belle
I have put the video on my blog but I am new to blogging so I will also be exploring other ways to raise funds for that little pet
she is the cutest. I will post a link to this on my blog later this week. Definitely a worthy cause in my book!
I have been so touched by your daughters story and how strong you and your family have been for her. I wish everyone with a disability had a mother like you. Your Belle is very inspiring and I hope more than anything a treatment is found. Good luck to Belle on her walk!!!
Kirsty what a little angel Belle is. I would love to help and will start by sharing the video on my blog and any money I raise from selling my cards will go into an Ellie pot!!
I'm a lurker ususally, but have made a small donation. I hope it all goes well for you and your beautiful girl gets the help she needs.
Pol(Ethansmum on UKS)
Kirsty, put my name and Jasons (DS) to walk the mile.
Nina
Kirsty - can I spread the word in my corner of the planet?
She is a doll!!!
Gabi
I'm sure I've never posted a comment here, or if so, perhaps just to thank you for an overlay you've shared. But yours is one of the few blogs I MUST read, and your sweet Ellie's video from yesterday was such a treat to see - the "thank you dearly" made me weepy, so my 6yo asked why. We watched again, and she wanted to know how we could help. I think I'm going to encourage my children to walk a mile in support of Ellie... Okay, off to find your paypal donation button...
My thoughts and prayers go to you all, and I hope there are answers and help coming very, very soon!
Good Luck with your fundraising, I have seen so many photos of Ellie it is lovely to hear her voice too.I will post a link on my Blog.
Sending loads and loads of love and hope your way Ellie, Kirsty and Mark. Have made a donation, but will post around to try and help some more. Good luck - you all deserve it! xxx
Hi, I suppose I'm what you would call a "lurker" on this blog but I feel the need to let you know I'm thinking of you and Belle and have posted a link on my blog (even though it's in the very early stages and I don't think anybody reads it...). I put the video on there as well because I think your daughter is adorable, hope you don't mind but if you do just let me know and I'll remove it. Good luck; I look forward to seeing updates from your little lady. :)
xXx
Belle's message is the sweetest i have ever heard brought a tear to my eye. I am going to post a link on my blog and hopefully get a few more sponsers for her. Best of Luck Belle.
Kirsty, I've followed your blog since I first started scrapping and therefore followed the lovely Ellie's struggles over the past couple of years. Well done for trying every avenue to help her. Will keep you all in my prayers and hope that you raise all that you need for your trip to the US. Tina xx
I`ve add a picci and a link on my blog for you...Belle is such a delight. Best wishes to you all:)
Kirsty, I come over and visit your Blog most days, so are aware of the jpurney you and mark have had battling to get what Belle deserves. This is a wonderful opportunity and wish you all every success. I have posted a bit on my blog (Not that many call by and visit LOL)and now off to make my donation. Love to you, Belle and Mark X
What a lovely video, Ellie! Kirsty, I'm going to post this on my blog and see if I can swing a donation. Good luck--I'm so hopeful that you will find some answers!
So so sweet! I'm off to make a donation for Ellie and will do something on my blog on Monday, which will hopefully raise a few more pounds. Good luck with it all.
x
I will post this on my blogs and make a donation!
What a sweet little girl you have, great video, she is a doll!
Best wishes for your family!
I visit frequently but only leave comments infrequently Kirsty.
I've shown my two children Belle's video and they were so touched by it (they're 12 and 7). My son thought that life was so unfair not allowing Belle the chance to enjoy life as he does at the same age.
My hubby collected cash from the staff at work instead of sending Christmas cards. It's still on his MD's desk so he's going to ask for it back tomorrow. When he gets it, consider it yours!
I have loads of cards kicking round that I've made for dares etc. I'll sell them where I can to raise a couple of pounds more for you too.
Good luck with the fundraising.
Rosie

I burst into tears during the video, not for sadness, but for the sweetness and courage of Ellie. I know that you will find great success in the states. I wish you well and I am thankful to have found your blog--what a wonderful family. A donation will be coming your way.
