Taking pictures of Jaime's Ellie was so much fun. She has the most striking blue eyes and pretty face and most beautiful white blonde hair. And so many colourful outfits - I felt spoiled just for me! I have had a hard job picking my favourites because nearly all the photos are just peachy. My favourite park has a gazillion backdrops and this one is a firm fave of mine. Its a shady hollow surrounded by lush trees and a little pond. The lighting gives a perfect overall covering with no shading. Ellie looks so much older than her 7 years here.
A passerby wanted to take a peek at one particular shot I had taken of Jaime and Ellie and commented at how loving they came across on camera, this one is a particular favourite even if slightly blurry. I love natural laughter on film (ok, on a compact flash card!)This is a series of 3 photos where Ellie got a little gigglesome - I love this last one where she was screaming with laughter (hence no head in the frame!)
Pictures of the two ellies in their funk-a-roo colours
Belle new boots which match her dress with absolute perfection.
The afternoon went far too quick and before long we had to head out for the Occ Therapists for Belles new motorised chair for school. Mortified is not the word at the sheer prescription of it but she needs it for high school as some distances between classes are just a non negotiable journey for her. I find it excruciatingly difficult that the NHS realise she has the need for this with her disabilities and the DLA can't recognise she has a problem at all. Er, HELLO? But I am feeling much stronger about it because Marko is home and we vacate soon for 2 weeks in a BONZER hotel on the island of Menorca, Spain. We have guinea pig sitters whilst we are away - who cannot say that they will miss cuties as yummy as these whilst they are gone?
