It does, really. I cant believe my luck and if it stops now then hopefully it will pass on to someone who deserves it too. I wouldn't mind a bit.
Not only did I receive both the Roxie and Toby "Love, Elsie" Kits from Modscraps DT but I also got a phone call from the US. I had been informed that I had won a competition that I cant reveal until next week. I kind of screamed down the phone and I was in the middle of instructing the kids with the after school arts club that I run, Sticky Mitts/Technique Tuesday...... we can't decide on the proper name yet. I don't enter many comps but I kind of have a history with this company from way back. It feels good. Like need a wee all the time but gee, I don't know. SHUT UP!
I was dying to hack into Elsie but I had my roots done today (v. import) and also my bella baloo was icky wick. Thinking she had a severe cold I actually think its hayfever which doesnt suprise us as both marko and I suffer pretty bad. Fortunately for me my hayfever has petered out over the years. I used to suffer real awful as a kiddo. So I tanked her up with bacon butties, coffee and tissues and she sat in bed watching dvd's and snoozing. Poor little love.
I took some snaps of some finshed cards and a mini mini book I have been working on about our home. Its a teeny thing really but I wanted to use the last of the papers that funnily enough Elsie gave me last october during a class. All of these cards have bene made from scraps - I never hack into 12x12 paper just for a card. All these papers have been a layout priority usage first, card second. I swear that for every layout I make, I make a card. I have a batch of cards stacked up here for any occasion. I might sell a few on etsy but with it being a US site only, it might proove to be a postal nightmare. Who knows but lets see.
Im off to bed for a good old read of my National Geographic. Im so bloody exciting, aint I?
