Belle and I slobbed in our pidgie mcwidgies all festering day. We love days like this. It was piddling down on and off all day so there was no point going outdoors. We were planing on going to the new shopping arcade in Wigan (swit swoo, we is posh!) but belle begged and pleaded to stay in her pidgies. Other than cleaning out Fizz and Doodles which resulted in me sneezing and wheezing for an hour afterwards, we took a bath mid afternoon and had an afternoon snooze. Actually Belle needs all the rest she can get right now as she has her SATS this week. After the will they/wont they drama over her sitting them the school has decided to allow her to have a go and have gone the extra mile and are providing her with a scribe. She will sit her exams in a seperate room with a scribe, as dictating will only distract the other kids. So throughout the day I asked her questions in relation to the exams. All we can ask is that she tries her best.
I forgot to take pictures of my bag. I conjoured up a tote without a pattern and lined it so that it can be reversible. Im chuffed with myself but I had to unpack 6 seams at varying stages throughout the makery so indeed a pattern might have been handy. Still, I learned a lot and I have enough left over to make a teeny tote to match. As belle is not a bag girl whatsoever Im certain a little self indulgence wont be such a crime. Ill share the pics soon - Im one happy bunny to be honest but I blame the eurovision song contest for my lack of concentration on the crap seams moments.
So - KITS!! Rather spiffing kits are here again with cardmakers (as well as scrappers) in mind. They are predominantly papers with just two stinking buttons as embellies - they will be handy for a project or two. Also I have a scallop template to download for A5 cards, Im sure they will come in handy although you will have to handcut that out.
you can download the card making scallop templates here - try them!!
Gotta go, this laptop is burning a hole around my knees and the smell of burning flesh is making me peckish for a bacon sandwich.
