This week was to create a layout depicting simple pleasures. This is she - our simple pleasure. Watching a child crack a cheesy grin, especially with a child whos facial expressions are few and far between is a wonderful yet simple pleasure for us. We get to see this beautiful creature tomorrow after being parted for 5 days. sniff sniff. This picture was taken at new year and I will always remember this cheeky little elfin face because Ellie can be such a serious little madam at times. The doctors actually think part of her dystrophy causes her to have very little expression but I dont try and thing about that too much. Its nice to see it come naturally thogh as opposed to having to force it. This was a natural reaction to mark making her giggle. Priceless.
And have your self a freebo texture to make boring squares of colour into fabulous sheets of scrap paper. Admittedly I also overlayed a texturiser layer on top but as you know, texture plates are AWESOME and I have some for sale to use anyhow (including commercial) from ripples to tyre marks, to intricate fabrics and contours. This on todday is free and is called crumpled swatch.
