Now check out my little lady who performed so well today and with her EYES OPEN! This is just a few of the many I have with her eyes open. Finally a set of pictures I can scrap where she is happy to play, smile and have fun. At this rate, I'll finally have an excuse to scrap her more often and pictures she will forgive me for when she is older. Mark and I have so many photos of her with her eyes closed, we really do have to snap around 100 pics to get one with her eyes open and then she won't be smiling! So hurray for Ellie! (click pics to see the bigger and better!)
The place where I took this pictures is the same place I take almost all my session pictures. However, belle and I discovered it has 5 miles of woodland walkways and we have a great day of discovery. We found a hide where you can watch squirrels and birds feeding - Belle totally gleamed whilst we sat and watched (damn, never brought my zoom lens ... plops!). And then we found this wooden owl carving where she offered to jump out of her pushchair and join him for a cuddle. Look at her face - love that kid, I do you know. I truly do. Cross my heart. Hope to be kissed a million times by her.
And finally a picture of a firework. Belle is not a fan of banging type ones. She much prefers the simple gardn fountain style (damn!) So I set the shutter 5 seconds, hand held it and shook the camera in a circular motion to get this baby. Its very hard to get fireworks on a point and shoot so cameras with a manual setting that allows creative control of your speeds should let you get stuff like this. All in all, both Belle and I have had a great day. Have you?
